I will confess I'm so totally overwhelmed at the moment and cannot remove the smile from my face, but I have great reason to feel this happy.
Now, I know us authors are told to take a review with a pinch of salt, but this review 'Holy Hotness' means the world to me as this is the first novel I have written without a co-author. Anxious to go alone, I had much to consider when dropping my co-author, afraid I would mess up, afraid I couldn't do a book without someone guiding me, however, with the amazing staff at Secret Cravings and my wonderful editor, I achieved my first alone published works Dan's Desires, book 5 in the Desires series.
The review from Amazon
To be honest, the only the only thing I didn't like was some of the slang differences from over the pond. There were times when I had to look up a phrase or two because I didn't understand it. I only recently have broadened my horizons to across the way, so I don't understand 100% of the lingo. That's by no means the fault of any author. This book was hot and steamy without losing the story line of love and fighting for it.
Dan got talked into being a male escort while in college. He thought, why not? I love sex and I can get paid for it. What more could a horny young man ask for. He had lost all illusions of love in college. He thought he was in love and decided to cut all the other women out of his life. However his girlfriend didn't feel the same way. It left Dan crushed and he totally cut of all of his feelings off. When his first escort job recommends Desire's, he's not sure if it's something he could do. He does research on the place and feels Desire's will put him in a better position than escorting. He still has that carefree feeling with sex and no love. He even starts sleeping with the boss. Angel is very commanding and not always is her style of sex his cup of tea. Angel starts sending him the less attractive clientele but he's so wrapped up in his own world he doesn't feel the warning bells like he should.
Then SHE walks into his life. Stacie Clifford. She's beautiful in every sense of the word and for once he can't just lay with her and go. That's not why she's at Desire's. Just ending an abusive marriage, Stacie needs so much more than a tussle in the sheets. She needs to meet her femininity again, get to know herself, and get her confidence back. She can't even look Dan in the eye when they first meet. He knows that he has to go slow with her and it's the ultimate torture. The more sessions that she books with him, the more he realizes that she has made him a man and despite his contract, he's falling in love. He knows to have Stacie he'll have to leave Desire's. But little does he know that Angel has other plans and will not let him go without a fight.
Dan, a devious, hot, sincere young man, preys on women like a vulture. He takes up escorting before entering a world of sexual fantasy in a club called Desires, being paid to have sex. He loves being a naughty boy without conviction, even having sex with the boss, using any means to have his wicked way.
Then he meets a new client, Stacie Clifford. He needs to drop the boy act and become a man, yet remember the club’s emotional contract. He makes it his responsibility to protect Stacie from Angel the boss of the club. He’s in love.
He has almost everything: a wife, son and a baby on the way, ownership of Desires, yet something is missing from his life, Sapphire his daughter. Unable to move on, feeling destroyed, his marriage is uneasy. Day after day he fights his heartache, wanting to be happy and be Dan, the man he once was. Will Dan ever be complete again? What will it take to get him there?
Hot! Seductive. Dan the man, at his best!
